Luleå River Adventure

After enjoying a varied breakfast buffet, drive to Mörön see map here where your snowmobile tour starts at 10:00. For two hours you will experience the winter paradise as you drive through the forest and the Luleå archipelago. After the tour you will make your way back to your hotel to relax before your next adventure. With the evening ahead of you, you have many options. You can explore the world heritage site Gammelstad church town and book a guided tour. If a snowmobile tour was not enough, you can also book a Northern Lights hunt by snowmobile for 1990 SEK per person. Northern Lights hunt can also be done by car for 1000 SEK per person. Or you can simply walk through the city and discover the many shops, cafes and restaurants that the city has to offer.

After a good night's sleep, it's time to check out of your hotel and continue your journey, which today takes you to Harads. In Harads, you will stay at Treehotel Guesthouse where you will experience a homely environment from the 30s - 50s. At 1:00 PM, you will be given a guided tour of the different tree hotel rooms with their unique and impressive designs. The rooms are created by some of Scandinavia's leading architects. When it's time to eat, you can visit the restaurant at Treehotel Guesthouse. The restaurant gives you the chance to eat the best dishes of the season prepared with local ingredients such as fish, game meat and berries.

The final destination of your adventure awaits! After a lovely stay in Harads, it's time to drive to Jokkmokk. If you want to sleep in, you can arrive in Jokkmokk just before the day's activity starts, but if you like to wake up early, we definitely recommend arriving in Jokkmokk a little earlier to explore the town and visit the Ájtte museum. At lunchtime your Sami experience begins. For 3 hours, your Sami guide will take you on an unforgettable cultural experience. You will meet reindeer, enjoy a nice traditional lunch cooked over an open fire in a lávvu, a Sami tent house, and experience traditional music called joik while learning about their culture.

After your Sami adventure, it's time to check in at Hotell Åkerlund, a cozy hotel in central Jokkmokk. The rest of the afternoon is free to spend as you wish. In the evening you can enjoy a nice dinner at the hotel or inside the charming village.
