On your Luleå River Luxury Adventure you get to follow the river upstream and discover the many beautiful places it connects. Your journey begins in the lively coastal town of Luleå where you get to experience the fantastic winter landscape by snowmobile. You can also try several other winter activities such as hunting for the northern lights, snowshoeing and meeting moose and reindeer. The city of Luleå also offers good shopping and several nice restaurants. You will sleep in one of Luleå's finest hotels, the ancient hotel from 1903, Elie Stadshotell. With a grand entrance and a beautiful ballroom in the French Renaissance style, this hotel offers tastefully decorated rooms, a gym, parking, a restaurant and a gastropub. Your next destination is Harads where you will sleep in one of the unique and magnificent rooms of the world famous Treehotel. Is it UFOs that pique your interest the most or would you rather live in a bird's nest high up in the tree? Either way, it's a perfect place to relax and be in the moment while enjoying the proximity of breathtaking nature. The final destination of your adventure is Jokkmokk where you will visit the Sami people and experience their culture before going to the Peace and Quiet Hotel. Here you will spend the night in a glass room under the stars, and with a little luck you may see the northern lights painting the night sky. Your entire trip will be characterized by the constant proximity to the incredible winter landscape.

On arrival at Luleå airport, you will be welcomed by one of our guides, who will help you collect your rental car. Then you drive into the center of Luleå, where your accommodation, Elite Stadshotell, is located. After checking into your hotel room, you will have some time to explore the charming city. Don't forget to take a walk on the internationally famous ice trail by the sea that leads from Norra to Södra Hamnplan. You can also use a kick that you find along the way and that is provided by the city of Luleå for public use.
After enjoying a nice breakfast buffet, drive to Måttsund where your snowmobile journey begins at 10 am. For 2 hours you will experience the winter paradise of Swedish Lapland while driving through forest and the Luleå archipelago. After the tour, drive back to your hotel to take a nice hot shower before your next adventure. With the evening ahead of you, you have many opportunities. You can explore the world heritage Gammelstad church town and book a guided tour. If a snowmobile trip wasn't enough, you can also book a northern lights hunt with a snowmobile for SEK 1,995 extra per person. Northern lights hunting can also be done by car for SEK 900 extra per person. Or you can simply walk through the city and discover the many shops, cafes and restaurants that the city has to offer.
After a good night's sleep, it's time to check out of your hotel and continue your journey through the beautiful landscape of Swedish Lapland towards Harads! At Treehotel you stay in one of the unique and magnificent rooms at the world-famous Treehotel. Depending on availability, you can choose between Mirrorcube, Blue Cone, UFO, Birds Nest or The Cabin, a cozy capsule-like room located at the top of a steep slope, which gives you a majestic view of nature and the Luleå river valley. After making yourself at home in the room, you can either relax and enjoy each other's company or take a walk to explore the different tree hotel rooms with their unique and impressive designs. Treehotel is truly an unforgettable experience. In the afternoon you can relax in the sauna for 2 hours. Bathrobe, towel, soap and shampoo included. When it's time to eat, you can visit the restaurant at Treehotel Guesthouse. At the restaurant, you get the chance to eat the season's best dishes made with local products such as fish, venison and berries. If desired, the meals can be ordered to your hotel room to be enjoyed in peace and quiet.

The final destination of your adventure awaits! After a lovely stay in Harads, it's time to drive to Jokkmokk. If you want to sleep in, you can arrive in Jokkmokk just before the day's activity starts, but if you like to wake up early, we definitely recommend arriving in Jokkmokk a little earlier to explore the town and visit the Ájtte museum. At lunchtime your Sami experience begins. For 3 hours, your Sami guide will take you on an unforgettable cultural experience. You will meet reindeer, enjoy a nice traditional lunch cooked over an open fire in a lávvu, a Sami tent house, and experience traditional music called joik while learning about their culture.
After your Sami adventure, it's time to check in at the Peace and Quiet hotel. Upon check-in, you will be shuttled to your luxurious glass hotel room out in the beautiful landscape of Swedish Lapland. The rest of the evening will be free to enjoy in peace and quiet. You can read a book or have a cup of coffee while you appreciate the wonderful nature outside your window.
At any time, breakfast will be delivered to your room so you can enjoy it to a beautiful view in peace and quiet. After this wonderful holiday, it is time to travel home. If you have an early flight, it's time to check out of your hotel and start the journey to Luleå airport. We wish you a safe journey home.
