In our popular package Explore Luleå Luxury weekend, you get to experience the most popular arctic activities in just 4 days and that in the middle of the fantastic winter landscape of Luleå.
In addition to a guided snowmobile tour, northern lights hunting and a city tour included in Explore Luleå Weekend, this travel package also gives you the chance to experience one of the most popular winter activities – a dog sled tour through the winter wonderland.
Your 4* hotel is in the middle of the charming center where you can take a nice walk and enjoy the typical Swedish coffee. Luleå city also offers good shopping and several nice white-guide certified restaurants.
If you're still not tired after all the included activities, you can go skiing, skating or kicking on the ice trail that stretches from the North Harbor to the South Harbor. Our internationally renowned ice trail attracts people from all over the world! Here there are many kilometers of the Baltic Sea's frozen natural ice that offers a unique experience!
Another attraction in our fantastic city is located just outside Luleå's city centre. On the UNESCO World Heritage List, Gammelstad Church Town, you can visit cozy shops with locally designed products and crafts and experience the beautiful and unique world heritage with or without a guide.

On arrival at Luleå airport, you will be welcomed by one of our guides, who will then drive you to your accommodation in the centre of Luleå. After checking in to your hotel, the rest of the day is free to explore the city. You can stroll through the streets, settle down in a cozy cafe and have a fika or check out one of the many restaurants.
On either Friday, Saturday or Sunday evening you will experience Northern Lights hunting by car, which night is chosen closer to the date based on the best Northern Lights forecast. The Northern Lights hunt starts at 20.00 and ends at 23.00.
After enjoying a nice breakfast buffet, a guide will meet you in the hotel lobby at 9.30am to drive you to Måttsund where the scooter tour starts at 10.00. For 2 hours you will experience the winter paradise of Swedish Lapland while driving through forest and the Luleå archipelago. After the tour, you will be driven back to your hotel where you can take a nice hot shower before setting off on your next adventure.

On today's schedule is the dog sled tour "Fikaturen" in the morning and the city walk in the afternoon. Again, one of our guides will meet you in the lobby to give you a ride. This activity starts at 9:00 AM. The strong dogs will lead you through woods and meadows for an hour while you enjoy the beautiful scenery. The guide drives you, which provides a great opportunity to take pictures from the sled. When the tour is complete, you will be able to sit down and have coffee before returning to the hotel. The entire activity lasts 1.5 to 2.5 hours. When you are back in the hotel room, you will have enough time to have a nice lunch before meeting your guide in the hotel lobby for the city tour. Now you will learn about Luleå's history but also about life in Norrlandet in those days and how the entire region developed within centuries. The entire hike covers 3 – 5 km and the activity lasts 1.5 hours.

After a wonderful weekend in Luleå, it is time to travel home. If you have a couple of hours before departure, you can have time to relax or do one last activity. But if you have an early flight, it's time to get ready and check out of your hotel. One of our guides will drive you to the airport and we wish you a safe journey home.
