Practical information

Fluid controls and energy
There is one water station where you also could get hot juice. You can also take a small bun (giffel) for quick energy. At the finish line you get a banana, cake and more drink.

Bag drop
It is possible to leave your bags in the large tipi tent on the ice outside the southern harbor area NOTE: Leaving stuff on own responsibility, we do not replace stolen or lost belongings.

Dressing
There is the possibility to change clothes in one of our tipi tents on the ice, but it is better to come changed as this is not a regular dressing room
NOTE. no shower facility.

Healthcare
We will have a doctor on site and the opportunity to transport injured runners to the southern harbor area on a scooter.

Shoe deal – Icebug
On presentation of your receipt, you will receive a 30% discount on new icebug shoes at the Snabba Steg store in Luleå.

Award ceremony
Prize in all four distances for placing first, second and third in the women's and men's class.
Everyone gets a buff from Icebug.
The award ceremony takes place approximately 10 minutes after the last participant has crossed the finish line. There is a price distribution for each distance and it takes place at the tipi tent.
Of course, we also raffle some prices and this only applies to participants who are on site.

As the planning of track laying on the sea ice is not yet complete, which depends on weather and ice conditions, we cannot define the exact length of the shorter sections. They can be 5 or 6 km, respectively 10 or 12 km.

Time and date
02 March 2024

Start time 42km: 09:00

Start time all other distances: 10:00

NOTE: The pick up of the envelope this year also on the day before - Friday, March 1st at 6-8pm. You will find us at the large tipi tent on the ice at the southern harbor.

On the race day 2/3 you can pick up your envelopes at 8am at the lage tipi tent on the ice at the southern harbor.

Registration
The registration is binding, but you may give the bib number to someone else if you are prevented.
Registration closes 18:00 on 01 March 2024.
Post-registration can be made until 09:00 on 02 March. Late registration costs SEK 100 extra.

Timekeeping and bib number
No later than 30 minutes before your start time, you should pick up your number tag from the large tipi tent on the ice outside Södra hamnplan. The pick up of the envelope is possible on 1/3 at 18:00 – 20:00 and on 2/3 from 08:00. For timing keeping we work together with race timers that use RFID technology which identifies the competitors via a disposable chip integrated with the number tag

Results follow the lead, this is live for split times and finishes, when first passes the next split time the results list jumps to that split time.

Group booking / company
If you wish to make a group registration and to receive an invoice, email the name, date of birth, women's or men's class and phone number for all participants. Also email invoice details.

Track stretch
The start will take place on the ice outside the southern harbor area. The race is only on the ice rink. The race will consist of several laps around the ice rink:

5km = 1 lap

10km = 2 laps

21km = 3 laps

42km = 6 laps
